Welcome to Robert G's X site!

Click this short testimony (and leave a comment too) of a UMAK student on how God found them during their weekend vacation in Tagatay. I remember he called me in my cellphone at around 11pm and shared to me how happy they were. I even heard some of them crying for joy because they felt that God was there in their midst.

God can visit anybody regardless of who they are and is able to convict them of their short comings and bring them into his unfathomable love.

God is so wonderful.

Sounds commendable. But... does it mean that had they NOT experienced an emotional upheaval of sorts, that God had a LESS OF A VISIT with them... or any of us for that matter? Often, when brothers and sisters "fail" to further this initial emotional "experience", or the erstwhile "fruit of the Spirit", they end up sliding back a bit, sometimes forgetting that Christians don't live a "storm-proof life" when storms hit. ---- Rather, God has FOUND US a long time ago and purposed those of us who would heed Him in His call to come home, to be conformed to the One by Whom the world would later be judged in Righteousness. --- These "bords" finally FOUND the Christ of God! And all of heaven rejoices on their return! And if they wont be taken by their initial emotional upheaval... truly the fruit(s) of their rebirth shall be made manifest.

I agree. =) So sad for those so called Christians think that living a life with Christ will free them from the "storms of life".
But these "Bords" are different. Just like us, they were right in the middle of their storms when God found them. They are willing to serve God knowing that these storms will not go away instantly or maybe for a life time. What's amazing with these guys are, even though they are in the middle of their storms, where the fight to survive is intense, they are still willing to engage in another fight...the fight to be called "true followers of Christ".

O wag na mag reply. Nose bleed na ako....

Pastor Dude... thank you for hearing and obeying God's call in your life! Literally and profoundly speaking, standing tall allowed you to see the needs of these students in a different way. With you responding to it and humbly heeding to your leaders suggestions, counsels, and even their corrections, you will continue to witness multitudes coming to GOD. Yes, this is not about you or the people working with you.. but GOD is saying.. "because of your leadership My son, ALL those who hear about me through you will lead from nations to nations... while you, you will receive your reward in full."... Thanks for always being available! ... Your love for people esp for the youth is amazing! O okay na ko sa Fridays khit strawberry ice tea lang... yun na, segue lang!
